DIVINE PARK the Spiritual Laboratory of Swami Vivekananda!
The central theme of Divine Park can be summarized in the words of Swami Vivekananda himself, who led the resurgence of India with this teaching;
“Teach yourselves, teach every one his real nature, call upon the sleeping soul and see how it awakes. Power will come, glory will come, goodness will come, purity will come, and everything that is excellent will come when this sleeping soul is roused to self-conscious activity.”
Atmashakti, the latent power within every one of us can become potent by manifesting itself through the Power of Will, Power of Knowledge and the Power of Action. Divine Park has been fostering Atmashakti Jagruti amongst the masses by enabling them to acquire these three factors through various projects.
Bhakti Kranti projects, in the form of Satsangs inspire people to aspire for a life of nobility and ability. Shakti Kranti projects provide an avenue for such inspired people to channel their efforts in spreading the noble ideas through the print and electronic media. Yukti Kranti projects in the form of workshops, impart knowledge to lead a life of elegance and balance for the cause of the world, religion and God.
Divine Park brings out a 4-monthly magazine in Kannada – Viveka Sampada and half yearly magazine in English-Viveka Veena, which together enjoy a subscription base of more than 2 lakh people, enlightening and enlivening a million readers through the dissemination of life building ideas. More than 250 publications spanning 8 languages have been published to present the most profound spiritual truths in a highly practicable manner reviving the true Indian culture, where religion stands for realization.
Tens and thousands of one day retreat programs, personality development workshops for students and Satsang programs have kindled aspirations of lakhs of people to lead a life of nobility and ability, demonstrating dynamic spirituality as against static piety.
The various service projects of Divine Park are carrying out the mission that Swamiji once envisioned;
“My whole ambition in life is to set in motion machinery which will bring noble ideas to everyone’s door, and then let men and women settle their own fate. Let them know what our forefathers as well as other nations have thought on the most momentous questions of life. Let them especially see what others are doing now, and then decide. We are to put the chemicals together, the crystallization will be accelerated by nature according to her laws. Work hard, be steady, and have faith in the Lord…… Keep the motto before you — “Elevation of the masses without injuring their religion”.
