Doctorji Programs

Guru Vandana

During the olden days in India, there were many sages who made sincere and honest efforts to realise the God within. Now, people are more civilised and educated but have unfortunately forgotten our rich heritage and spiritual connection. Most of them run behind money, name and fame and they stoop down to any level for their selfish and materialistic desires. The existence of God has almost been forgotten and we hear people say that God is nowhere. God has become an allergy rather than a source of energy. If they do happen to seek God, they go outside their homes and see beautiful statues of different Gods made up of costly materials. They know that these statues cannot speak, think or move. They do not respect the statues they consider lifeless and even behave with arrogance and merry!.

What is the solution for this? In the olden days, children were sent to a teacher, who would not only teach academics but also teach religion and its importance. The teacher would help mould the personality of each student by teaching them good values and guiding them on the right path of man-making. This training would eventually help them realise God. The teacher, is also called ‘Guru’. ‘Gu’ means Darkness and ‘Ru’ means light. Hence, ‘Guru’ is one who melts away the darkness of ignorance and shows us the path to lead a divine and peaceful life.

A divine and peaceful life does not necessarily mean that there will be no problems. The Guru will help change our perspective towards problems so we do not get disturbed by them. One step towards this is by ‘Sadhana’. ‘Sadhana’ is a lively spiritual sojourn, to see, seek and sieze the God within. The God (divinity) within us, is the pranashakti or life force driving us. To realise this divinity, naama, nema, prema are necessary. Naama, nema, prema mean reciting God’s name consistently with intimacy and devotion. Once we achieve this, we will succeed in getting His instantaneous guidance and hear Him within us by inner ear and realise Him with our inner eye.

Guruvandana is a session held twice a month, usually the first and last Sunday, after the Divine Discourse of Swami Vivekananda. The session lasts for about an hour, during which Poojya Doctorji clears all doubts of spiritual seekers and keeps the atmosphere holy and enthralling with his humorous and profound thoughts. This is a unique opportunity for many devotees to interact personally with Poojya Doctorji. Anyone can attend this program free of cost and get their spiritual questions answered. Since the session is held right after the Divine Discourse from Sri Guruji, the minds of the people who attend this program will be further elevated. You can get the benefit of this program and listen to a God realised person – Poojya Doctorji.

Vishwamangala Homa

Vishwa Mangala Homa is a unique divine programme conceived by Sri Guruji – Swami Vivekananda and being conducted by His spiritual medium Rev.Doctorji, since several years in different places of our country and abroad. As the name suggests, this program is conducted with a noble mission for the weal and welfare of all in this world.

Unlike Homas being conducted by priests wherein people’s active participation is limited, in this unique Homa, each devotee is given the opportunity to offer ‘Aahuti’ in the sacred altar in several rounds with chanting of the divine mantras continuously. This program is very unique because this is conducted by a God Realized person – Doctorji, who has been receiving the Divine Messages of Swami Vivekananda for more than 40 years.

The Program is organized generally in open ground where in devotees in thousands congregate at the auspicious time of Bhramimuhoortha (generally from 4:00 to 7:00 AM) and will conclude by the sunrise with the notion of seeing a new light in our lives.

Every devotee present in the gathering will offer the food items as prescribed by Sri Guruji himself. Food Items offered as aahuti for Homa, each of which symbolizes the offering of the ‘inner nine foes’ in us like, Lust, Anger, Greed, Passion, Pride, Jealousy, Egoism, Egotism and Suspicion to the Almighty. Revered Doctorji, explains before each round, the scientific relevance and inner spiritual meaning of offering these items to the Lord.

From the time Homa Starts, till it concludes, all the devotees will be chanting the Sacred Mantras of the respective Deities as guided by Revered Doctorji.

After conclusion of this special Homa, revered Doctorji will announce the far reaching beneficial effect of this Homa as given by Sri Guruji. This program is regularly held on 14th January every year at Yogabana. On every May Day (May 1st) at Swami Vivekananda Mandira – Kyathanahalli – in Mandya District.

Vishwamangala Homa has gained popularity over the years in India due to its practical and simple procedure of realizing God and hence this is also being conducted in other places outside India.

In Short the Unique Homa organized under the guidance of Patriot Monk of India, Swami Vivekananda Himself and being conducted by a Man of God and a medium of Swamiji – Doctorji, for the welfare of all in the universe, has very special significance due to active participation of all the devotees and messages revealed by God and Goddess in the program.
